Upgrade to Joomla 2.5

Hi there i upgraded joomla to 2.5 with 1.7 version of template. No menu and links and so on work. Now i see that there is the version for 2.5 of this template , could i upgrade it without lost my settings ? how i must do the upgrade to work as well ?

It depends on how you applied your changes. If all your changes are css overrides which are all contained in your override.css file then the only file you need to worry about is the override file. If on the other hand you have changed styling directly in the templates css files and/or php files you will need to run a diff tool to help you merge your changes with the new files.

If you use windows something like WinMerge will do the job. On linux try grep. There will be something similar for a mac.

Your problem is not with the Joomla or configuration itself but with one layer with id named #gkPopupOverlay situated in template.css
Temporary solution is to comment it ut but lets hope that Gavick team will solve this issue as soon as possible.
