Hi guys,

since I have changed the template style and upgraded from Joomla 1.7 to 2.5 I have a small problem.

Describtion:
All new and most read articles are listed in user 1, .. module positions. While using one of the displayed links, the chosen article is displayed in mainbody module position. That's normal so far. BUT my upper module are displayed as well so the user has to scroll down to read.

My upper module position are specified to be displayed only on 'home'.

What did I do to solve the problem by now?

1. I had had those problems by using Gavick tabs or menue items out of module position on frontpage. That's why I have built new menues and the problems have gone.

2. So I did it for 'most read' in module position user 1. I have linked the menue directly to the the module 'most read' within the menue interface to work. But it failed. Same result as before.

3. Inside the template interface, frontpage / components only or other configurations failed as well.

4. Inside the template interface, subpages / any configurations failed, too.

What I want to be solved?

The user should be able to activate a specific item from 'most read' or 'latest' and the article should be displayed on frontpage before any modules.

All these things work exactly by picking up tab items or menue items.

I hope you 'll understand what I wrote about.

Hi

This is a menu structure problem. This is exacly how joomla works, if there is no landing page for article than article will be displayed in the page where link was clicked. Please read more about a propper menu structure here: https://www.gavick.com/documentation/qu ... s-working/
