Problem with quickstart installation

Hi to all
I have a problem, when I launch the installation of joomla, in 4° page (database) after entering the correct parameters and select next I get this error : It was not possible to update the cache for the extension: mod_unread
Why ? I asked for a solution to my provider, but without solution

I had no problem installing it, so I think it has to be because server configuration. Please tell me what PHP version are You using?

Are you using joomla 1.7 or 2.5 ?

My sql : Server: Localhost via UNIX socket
Versione MySQL: 5.1.47-log
Versione protocollo: 10
Phpmyadmin version: 3.3.1
Estensioni PHP: mysqli

Same issue here, doing a local install on XAMPP 1.7.1 with the News2 Quickstart for Joomla 2.5

Joomla 2.5.1 core installs fine, the News 2 Quickstart throws the error:

"Could not refresh manifest cache for extension: mod_unread"

Please advise.

Just try vers. 1.7 and works fine!

I just downloaded the quickstart instalation again and it worked...Seems like there is a newer version and the problem has been solved.Tnx
