Login module position

Hi,

I need to remove the login/register from where it is right now (top-left corner) and i need to use another pop-up login module in that position. Can somebody please explain how i can achieve this?

To remove them just unpublish login and gkregister modules.

The problem is not with the publishing issue.
When i want to publish a 3rd party login module in the "login" position, again a login button appears and the 3rd party extensions becomes stuck in the login lightbox.

I want to get rid off the default login button and the lightbox, can you please tell me how to achieve this result?

Yes i removed it but take a look at the screen capture.
The 3rd party login button appears in the login pop-up window. The module position is set to "login".
All i want to do is replace the default login button with the 3rd party login button.

By the way the joomla version is 1.7

It is because i removed it. I cannot publish a malfunctioning module for days.
Do you really need to see it online?

Please install firebug ectension for mozilla. Then turn on this button, check css rules and copy them. Then add this rules for this button selector.
