Deactivate Registration link

Hi all,
I can't make the registration link disappear.(template Corporate LTD)

I have changed the parameters bellow at:
Global configuration>>user settings

Allow User Registration No
New User Registration Type registered
New User Account Activation No
Front-end User Parameters Hide

and the registration link is still there.

Any ideas?
I have done everything i could but it does not go away.

You can disable registration link in template parameters.

I looked at the /templates/gk_corporate/parameters.ini and i set the register_button=0

This is for Joomla-1.6.1

Choose on Admin Menu go to Users choose User Manager once there on your right hand side click on Option Icon and find New User Account Activation and set it to None

Easy but you really have to loose some hairs to find it !!!
