Hi,
I must admit that I am new to Joomla. But since having bought a subscription and trying in vain to modify the bikestore template I have given up. I've watched a few tutorials on youtube and since downloaded some templates from another company and found them to be so easy to customise to what I want.

The major complaints I have about Gavick templates:
- no sample data comes with the template. So what you think you are getting is not what you get. It also makes it very difficult to figure out what to customise
- have to write CSS and html to change simple things such as logo and background. I thought the whole point of Joomla was so that you don't have to do this?
- the template documentation is meaningless. The only way to find proper documentation is by doing a google search, it cannot be accessed through the website

The templates look amazing and that is why I paid for the subscription. But I can't use them so they are useless to me. Is it possible to get a refund?

Glen.

"- no sample data comes with the template. So what you think you are getting is not what you get. It also makes it very difficult to figure out what to customise"

We provide quickstart packages that not only has sample data but all module configurations as well - all you need is to install it as a standard joomla installation

"have to write CSS and html to change simple things such as logo and background. I thought the whole point of Joomla was so that you don't have to do this?"

You can modify logo by selecting image type, but if you want a customisation (different size logo, different colours) then you either edit it by yourself (with our tips) or hire a frontend developer to do it for you.

"the template documentation is meaningless. The only way to find proper documentation is by doing a google search, it cannot be accessed through the website"

The documentation works completely well. If you can't find something - you can either ask on forum or use google. It is a standard this days that it is easier to find something on a site through google then navigating on your own - especially if you are not quite sure what you are searching for.
