Hello Friends,
Your sees it exactly? ;)
Can it be that the Gavick templates are less per year?
In 2013, there were 12 templates, so for each month one!
In 2014, there were unfortunately only 9 templates!
And this year, is still only the quark template in two variations, but still it is a Quark template!

What is your opinion on this, or am I wrong?
Please do not misunderstand, Gavick templates are very qualitative and very appealing templates! ;)

Thanks for your opinions!

Many Greetings :)

You are right. Somewhere las year we decided not to release a template each month but to work more on current ones, fix them according to our users complains and simply create better product.
Also Quark is a different approach - it was released as a basing one and now it is available with "restaurant" theming.
Please check our blog - you can read about those decisions more there.

Sakari,

It's of no use... I've tried to talk reason. Gavick is going down the rabbit hole. They've abandoned their lifetime and developer subscribers. You can skin Quark as many ways as you want but like Sakari said, it's still just one template. In fact, it was a very incomplete template that you are adding stuff to that should've been there already considering how long it took to be released in the first place.

Gavick USED TO BE the best Joomla source. They seemed to care about their customers. Now... well... it's take what they give us and we are supposed to be thankful.

Maybe if they didn't spread themselves too thin, abandon their core Joomla base and hired a couple more desingers/developers they could get back on track and keep up with the ever changing times.

Shame... I really used to support and tell everyone I knew to use Gavick. Now it's just embarrassing.

Thanks for sharing your opinion, we take every to consider. Sadly hiring more developers isn't that easy. I'll talk with others about your opinion and provide your suggestions.
