security fix email

Hi
I received an email from yours talking about 1 security update

but download link doesn't work
and the lines: $id = JRequest::getVar('id', '');
doesn't exist

I've found the flies in /framework dir helper.social file

However, the fix has caused a 500 error on a couple of GameNews J2.5.28 sites I have updated. Had to roll back. Can you please check this?
