Error! Could not find an XML setup file in the package.

I keep receiving this error for Party Freak and I have unpacked the both files: the tgz file and the rest_files, none have worked.

I do not need to install quick jump because joomla is already installed for me.

What can I do to retrieve the XML setup file?

Install using Joomla! installer.

Aren't You trying to install Quickstart package ? Please use standard template package file.

I have installed the "standard" .tgz file, and am now having trouble with installing the main Image Slide Show and the "Videos-Photos-Comments" right menu section as well.

This is not my first time using gavick templates, but I am having so much trouble with this Party Freak template.

Starting from near scratch.. and I renewed my membership hoping this template would have a quick install so that I don't have to make too many changes for the client...

If there is an available staff member who can call me or email me to assist me with this template, that would be appreciated.

If You having troubles than it's from joomla. Templates do not have installation option. You have mantioned that there is no quickstart, but there is in the same place as the standard template.

my guess is your trying to install the zipped zip file.. please try to extract it local, and then upload the zip file you get extracted, and see if that aint working...
