Hi, We want to replace the world News template that we are using in our page www.paternaaldia.com for one template that supports T3. I like this templare look, but i don,t know if it,s a good idea use a shop template for our News portal. Do you thing that it,s a good idea? Can i have any problem using this template for a News portal? When we chante the template we want to use k2 too.

Despite it's e-commerce theme, i don't see any problem if you want to use it as News site.
All of this extensions will still have style support - News Show Pro GK4, PhotoSlide GK3, JComments and K2 Components. The only ones that doesn't have template style added are Tabs Manager GK4, GK News Highlighter, GK Weather and GK Stock, but still you can use them with module style type.

You can also disable VirtueMart CSS style on template parameters.

So, if you want to use it, go for it.

What makes template e-commerce ? Only the modules used for the site. So I also see no problems with using it as portal.
