COMPLAINT -- NO UPDATES / FEBRUARY TEMPLATE

Hi,

I just wanted to mention that Gavick.com hasn't released a February template. I realize things are tough right now, but we've been waiting for something in the Joomla 1.6 structure, and the only thing available is penguin mail.

Anyone have any information on this?

Hi

January template will be release this weekend. It's finish, just needs small details.
We will immediatly work on Feb template to fix time release.
About J!1.6 recoded template, we already are doing it ( if i recall well, the next release will be PostNote).
Anyway, remember that even if we release our templates on J!1.6, some 3th party extensions are not ready for J!1.6.

About the delays, we once again express our apologize.

Could you tell a template category? What would it be? News, Business, eCommerce, Portfolio, or something else?

as i wrote in the other thread - a subscription for 12 month will give you 12 templates.

In effect Gavick is a bit late with the templates but at the end of the day the question is: Do you really need the template so fast, if you know a bit of CSS and Photoshop you can edit any template and customise only for yourself.
Personally am already doing it.
Anyway as advise to Gavick just make some template more simple No javascript, CSS max 10Kb, possible few image and to finish NO totally NO Typography cos is asking to many request from servers.
