Quick Start Packages for Jooml 1.6 Templates MySQL Problems

today we want to test the new Joomla 1.6 Quickstarter Templates. We try to install Corporate 2 and after this did`nt work we try to install Postnote. But both of them give us at Step 4 by the Joomla Installer this MySQL Error Message:

.jos_usergroups' doesn't exist SQL=-- -- Dumping data for table `jos_usergroups` -- INSERT INTO `jos_usergroups` (`id`, `parent_id`, `lft`, `rgt`, `title`) VALUES (1, 0, 1, 20, 'Public'), (2, 1, 6, 17, 'Registered'), (3, 2, 7, 14, 'Author'), (4, 3, 8, 11, 'Editor'), (5, 4, 9, 10, 'Publisher'), (6, 1, 2, 5, 'Manager'), (7, 6, 3, 4, 'Administrator'), (8, 1, 18, 19, 'Super Users')

A look in PHP My Admin shows, tere is no jos_usergroups.

We try to install a blank Joomla from Joomla.Org - Insatall with no Errors. So, please could you have a look in the new packages and fix this issue . Or could you post an Insert for the MySQL to fix this problem.

tried it, too. no problem with corporate2. maybe download the package once more. or check delete databasetables during installation.

Ok, I try it once more: I download a new quickstart package, I unzip it in a new file, I setup a new clean and emty Database, I install the quickstar package (corporate 2) and I got the same error massage as once again (install step 4 - so I could`nt install it to the end). I make a screenshot for documentaion. If I try only a clean joomla installation, there are no error messages, no db problems? I can innstall the joomla in the same db, and it woks fine...

Please to the joomla stuff, check it again,

I had absolute no problem with corporate2 installation on XAMP localhost.

While installing the J!1.6 quickstart version, please DO NOT CHANGE TABLE PREFIX or else this problem will happen. If you want to use a different table prefix, you need to change sql dump file first (..installationsqlmysqljoomla.sql) by replacing all "jos_" prefix with your own.

I did`nt change any table prefix, I did`nt change anything. I only try to install this qucikstart package. If I try to install joomla only,>>absolutly no problem. When I install the package I`ve got this errors. What can I do to fix this problem? Could you post a DB Insert command for this table or send It to me via E-mail?
I need a little bit help with this problem.

thanx for this support offer, but I think, this is not a solution for me. I delete the insatallation and will be wait for updates. A friend has aslo test this template quickstart for me, and he run in the same problems. I think, there are many problems with this packages, and with joomla 1.6 too.

I hope, there will be come in the next time the 1.6.1 Joomla Verion (many bug fixes) and I hope there will come some new quick start packages (bug fixes) for the gavick tampletes too.

These problems are strongly reminiscent of the phase in a change from Jooomla 1.0 to Jooomla 1.5. I do not have the time nor the expertise to find fault at all here and fix it.

The problem with Quickstarts for Joomla! 1.6 was caused by MySQL 5.0 - we've fixed this problem previous night - please redownload the package if you have still the problems during installation.
