Customize New User Registration email message with html

Has anyone ever tried to Customize your joomla New User Registration email message with html do that you user gets something more than a simple your user name and pass word standard message? And let me be clear I know how to change the text. But other than a outdated and not supported extentions module i have found nothing on how to add html to jazz up the email. So as anyone ever done it?:silly:

hmmm not to be interesting but the template users here are joomla users and all I am asking is if anyone of them have ever tried this. No this is not a template issue however i didnt post this under the heading template rather general. But i understand your interesting point of view
