(Solved) Activity stream

Hey Gavick Team,

I've followed your PDF manual for proper installation of Quay and JomSocial (A-Z) but just now I see that my users are not seing/registering anything in the JomSocial Activity stream tab on the frontpage. I've even tried to re-install the com_activitystream component but without any luck.

I suspect that it might be your SQL dump (from the quickstart) that resets something as it also resets information on earlier installed components like JoomlaPack but I'm not quite sure (FYI re-installing components not showing up in the menu after importing the SQL file makes them avaiable again from the menu).

But if th eSQL dump is the cause of the problem then the manual is not quite right in the order it describes the installation progress. Also there are one or two identical sections and a few spelling errors to be rude

Can anyone confirm this problem?

I'm still on JomSocial version 1.6.290 degrading from 1.8.x because of this problem and I still need some help one Activity stream (and Video comments) on the frontpage which are still blank.

The odd thing is that you can see the activity from the profile section but not on the frontpage...

Problem solved. You didn't published this modules in tab2 and tab3 positions, so it was not showung in this place. I have made this two changes.
