Hi,

1.
After I finally got the Quay JomSocial template up and runnning I immediately noticed this small issue when the main menu from the Quay template overlaps the JomSocial menu (see the screenshot).

2.
Also when trying to click on the JomSocial Profile tab I get this error message (ProfilTab01.png & )ProfilTab02.png

Do you plan to release a new update for this template to Jomsocial 1.8? Because i found there's a lot of bugs.

I think that if you update your Quay installation with the current updates in the Update section you should have Jomsocial 1.8. At least that is what I see here:

Ok, I think I understand now. But that's not a JS 1.8 specific issue as I'm still running 1.6.x

Hi

Please try add this at the end of template.css file:

Code: Select all
div#horiz-menu {
z-index:10000;
}

That should work for both of You.

Yes I created a post a while ago about this:
http://www.gavick.com/forum/75-quay/553 ... pears.html

But I think the problem disappeared somehow. I did suspect the problem a while to be something about an Administrator logging in from the front-end, but I wasn't sure.

Yes! It seems to work perfectly for me as well, thank you oh great CSS master :woohoo:

That was 1 a very important fix. Now I wanted to close the post as being solved but there still is the 2nd also very important problem when clicking the Profile link (image3).

Maybe it's Quay template related or maybe it's the Quay JomSocial template? What do you think?

I've done a quick and dirty fix (Step2):

Step 1. Copy the Quay JomSocial template into the existing default template (it's called default).
Step 2. Now copy the original JomSocial profile.groups.php file and overwrite the one in the JomSocial default template directory.

This seems to work for me as I don't get the error anymore, I still get redirected to the user profile page and everything seems to work.

Yay, I've contributed with something :)
