website not working once moved servers

Hi I've moved servers with the world news template - everything was working fine on the old one but now my home page doesn't show anything and I get this error

I can access the backend and if I change templates it works - I've tried downloading the latest version of the template and overwriting the files via ftp


any ideas?

Please tell me what php version is installed on new server.

I I've got this message off our new hosts

"It seems the template you are using gktwn is not compatible with php 5.3 as 5.3 doesn’t use the redundant ereg family of functions, which are gone for good, as they were slower and felt less familiar than the alternative Perl-compatible preg family."

does this help and can it be fixed?

Hi

I think it's because of ereg() function too. All You need to do is to rename template's /html/com_content to /html/_com_content. If this won't help than problem is somewhere else.
