Disable main menu and replace with alternate menu?

Hi I would like to know if it is possible to remove or disable the main menu on all pages, and replace it with an alternative or better menu [a different menu]? I find this menu is really restrictive and problematic, submenus disapear and frustrating for users to navigate. PLEASE help as it seems coded into the template, and the main menu module is not even published...

GK Menu is part of the template (as you already said) and honestly i don't recommend this change.
Saying this... it means it's possible but it need some level of customization and probably lot's of css adjustments.
