Breadcrumbs box show twice

Hello, I just activated the breadcrumbs module in the breadcrumbs position and it's working perfectly there. The only problem is that there's a breadcrumbs box showing at mainbody. If I activate a second breadcrumbs module at breadcrumb_mainbody it works fine too but then I end up with two breadcrumbs which is not what I want.
It seems that the module on the breadcrumb position is the one causing the second breadcrumb to appear. I've tried assigning this module to only a couple of pages but it still shows the box in all pages.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
