Can someone tell me how to update this template? I would like to manually update it so I can keep changes I made to css files, logs, etc. Do I just FTP it and let it overwrite all the files or is there something I should be aware of first?
Thanks!

If you have modified files other than override.css - you need to manually merge your changes to new files. If override.css was only file - then back it up, replace template with new files and put override.css back.

Thanks for the quick reply! Yes I used an override css file. I can manage the changes fairly easily and I have already backed up the override.cass file.
I want to simply ftp across all the new template files and let them overwrite each of the old files. Is that the best way to proceed with gavickpro templates?
Thanks again!

Ok I updated the template to latest version and now I get this:
Fatal error: Call to a member function loadMenu() on a non-object in templates/gk_twn2/layouts/default.php on line 89
Thanks for any help.

Please remove entire template folder and replace it with one downloaded from our site. The cause of the problem is probably file structure that changed a little bit and now some files are loaded from old template and some from new.

Or if you have backed up override.css - update template via administration palnel just by uploading the zip into extension manager. If that will not help - delete current template folder first, switch for a second to Beeze, upload new template and switch back into it.

Hi Thanks for the help!
Ok, I tried what you suggested to update the template but no luck. I still get the error: Fatal error: Call to a member function loadMenu() on a non-object in templates/gk_twn2/layouts/default.php on line 89
Any other ideas? We haven't made any changes to the css of this template and we are not using css overrides. All we did was replace the default world news logo with our own on all the different colors available and a small change in joomla.css with regards to image spacing in articles.
I created a new folder and installed everything from the updated template using FTP. Then reset the template to point to the updated template. BAM error.
We are brand new to GK templates so any help with this would be appreciated.

Please go to your template setting and config your menu again then save it to check if it solves the issue.
