2. You have module set at mainbody so the content will not be displayed.

3. Please search for option "Show mainbody on frontpage"

1. Please take a look if at all language files the word "Login" is translated. Or maby it's a problem with cufon fonts (unfortunately I do not have a knowledge in this topic, so You will need to search the net).

2. Like I've said before to see the text of the article You cannot have a module at mainbody position.

4. I still do not understand. For me it's working but is redirecting to the same page, but it's only the hause pic. The rest are showing other pages but with warnings which for sure are not so scary as it looks and should be hidden by decresing errors displaying in php.ini file.

In general if you want to replace some text for cufon font you have to add some scripts to your website. In Hewahoo you can find in head section scripts responsible for using Cufon fonts.

If you want to replace some text with Cufon font please use this code:

Where SELECTOR is CSS selector for your element, for example #login_btn (for element with id="login_btn").

FONT_NAME is a generated font file name for font-family specified in cufon generator.

Probably this font doesn't support mentioned lanugages - when you're generating fonts you can select languages which will be supported. If it doesn't work you can remove similar rules as I show in my previous post and then cufon won't be used to render selected elements text.

But As I told before ..

Ok, so this font doesn't support russian and chinese chars. Please from layouts/blocks/head.php file remove line:

1) Probalby the best thing to do is restart from zero ... New installation and go !!
2) Belive me ... JoomFish! is absolutely the Very Best You can find ...
3) Probably ... You have not a UTF-8 Database ...
In this case ... You'll HAVE to start from ... zero ...

But don't worry ...
Joomfish! works wonderfully with russian, arabic, chinese or WHATEVER language You want ... I tell You this just becouse a couple of years ago I LOST weeks and weeks trying to solve my codification problems ... thinking it was some component fault (as JF) ... But it was the DataBase ... Maybe, is the same for You ... I don't know ...

I run with no error of joomfish,just do nothing when i use russian in default language.
After,I want to remove joomfish,can't do it in FTP...
It always happen to me before....

About the installation from zero ... ... ...
But ... It's the very best way ... and maybe the only one ... if not ... Your site will always have problems ... ... ... By the way, I really understand what You say ...
You culd try this:

1) Take a look at the PhpMyAdmin, in order to understand IF your DB is in UTF-8

if it is not, then:

2) Save it, and
3) make another NEW DB in UTF-8
4) import in it you old DB and see what append ...

If doesn't work ...
You could try to do this (always using a NEW DB in UTF-8 Format):

1) Try DELETE all the RUSSIAN content, and/or JoomFish! TABLEs from your Original DB
2) IMPORT the old CLEANED DB inside the new one ... and sse what appen ...

Just take a look to the PHPmyAdmin and see if you DB is in UTF-8 or if it is not ...

If it is not, then I'm sorry but there's is no way ... except a new installation ...
(or at least ... I've spend months tryng to find some solutions ... and in the and I had a hard job for a few days in order to make everything from zero but, by the way, there were days, and not empty, meaningless and crazy weeks ...)

I think it related to my FTP,I am using CoreFTP,but I think this is not a good FTP transfer program.I used SmartFTP before,but not available to be use for free at this time...

Why do not try FILEZILLA ??

I remember I did use Filezilla....
I am suffering the problem is,the FTP connection is poor than SmartFTP.
It will stop connection by itself while I am uploading the files,so always stop when I upload maybe 70-80% files,and then keep delete and re-upload....

Try the last version of FileZilla. I do not know the others, but ... thats right, sometime the FTP processor go to disconnected from the server, but in the last FZ releases there is a CUE which you can monitor and, if something stops you can just right-click and something like "put again files in the cue and process it".

I think it will be not a real problem ...
If You have a localhost version, use it, delete everything from the server using your administrator panel (I mean, the host's one) ... and go on

I'd be more worried about your DB ...
(And I'll do everithing again ... I know, no one wants, but ... in half an hour you have all the basic site in very and clean version and then ... just copy and paste al the content ...)

For sites on our templates the nesessary permisions on directories are:

- cache
- components/com_gk3_photoslide (and every subdirectory of this one)
- modules/mod_news_pro_gk1/cache


Please make them 777 because I've seen some servers not accessing while 755 only.
