How do I add the login button?

I am using version 1.6 of the template with J! 1.7. I would like to add a login button in the tools area. The documentation for the template is only for J! 1.5 and says to go to the features for the template and turn on Login and Register. However I cannot find those options.

So how do I turn on the login & register buttons?

I am also trying to figure out how to add the login/register links in the tools menu, using the joomla 1.7 corporate2 template. There are no options for either in the template features. Any help would be appreciated.

To enable login button, please enable or create a new module type Login and choose position login.

Register link is not available in joomla 1.7 version as it is in login popup already as an create a new account link. If you still want a register button we can do so with a small hack but it wont be a popup just a link to open a register page.
