When updating the sire cart redirects to the home, why?

when I upgrade the cart (either deleting or changing an item quantity) the site back to the home when it should remain in the basket, why?

Version of Sister:
- Joomla 1.5.23
- PHP 5.2.17
- MySQL 5.0.25
