Change Background colour of Template and change to text to menubutton

Hello Sir.
i want to change
1)Tools (Login,register and tools )text to image button.
2)To change the entire background of template.
3)Want to add Logo in the position of topmenu , i tried but the menu bar is coming above it....
so please kindly help me out
