contact form showing 404 error

hi, my store template was working well so far, but suddently showing error 404 comp not found

Can't open perl script "/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/quickinstall/scripts/checkupdates.pl": No such file or directory

reqeust help from learned teachers as what could be wrong, using quickstart package on mystore template

If message "No such file or directory" is displayed than most probably this file got corrupted. I would advice clear cache and check it than and if this will not help to reinstall component.

thanks for your reply, i could not see any contact form component for MYSTORE template in the joomla admin install/uninstall tab. would be thankful if i could know how to uninstall and reinstall which component and where to find the reinstall file

without the contact form working the site is as good as out of service

No I didn't meant that.

"/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/quickinstall/scripts/checkupdates.pl" is not a joomla file. Thrust me I can sing all joomla files while sleeping

You shouls ask Your host provider for this issue. Looks like it has something to do with cPanel for Your site. I do not know how this exact file or the whole component can affect joomla site, but without this cleared we cannot move further.
