Virtuemart update 2.06

Hi Don,

I have update my website with Virtuemart 2.06 by using Extension manager. By doing this all my products are deleted and some specific setting of Gavick (like Facebook, Twitter module) in the detail product screens are not available any more when I create a new product.
I don't have a backup, so what is the easiest way to recover this. I am planning to create the products in VM.
Are there specific modifications made by Gavick in VM? Can I install only this part? At least i would like to have the twitter and facebook module

remark:
I can not use the clean quick start, because it will take to much time to recover all the modifications I created in the CSS files

All our VM adjustments are in template folder /html/com_virtuemart so try update this part. Unfortunately I do not know how to restore lost products. In the matter of fack it shouldn't have happened in the first place. I've been updating VM many times and products were always keeps.

My provider helps me with a restore. But I do not know what they restore, the JM files or the database.In VM is shows that I have still the last version 2.06.

But, this seems to happen when I activate a different language in Extensions, Language manager (I have installed the dutch language package) the all the products disappears.
The reason for installing Dutch was to have dutch in VM.

Question 1
So, how can I enable Dutch in VM?
I have already installed the dutch package in JM.

Question 2
When I insert a product in Cart, I receive a message 'product added" twice.
How can I disable this message?

Question 3:
I want to provice Contact information on my site. What is a best way to do this: create a article? My contact button is defined as a bottom_item: see www.sucuisine.com

Question 4:
I have created several articles that can be activated from products. But at the top op the acticle the text "article' is displayed. How can I remove this text.

1. You better ask on VM forum. I'm not an expert in VM, but looks like it's installing tables for each language, so if You had installed it already and language next I would recommend install VM one more time, but with Your problem from before You better ask its developers.

2. Please add this to css:

3. The best way is to use Joomla component called Contacts. It's a default joomla function.

4. Please show me an example of such page.
