How to use K2 Store or Virtuemart ?

Hello,

What should we use on this template that the user can place an order for a product? The component Virtuemart Store or K2 or both are linked and we must use them both. From what I've seen it does not find the same products in K2 Store and Virtuemart

it's a personal issue.. what you prefer... the virtuemart has a great documentation and userforum... i wouldn't recommend using both... and i think this will give many support questions here that both are mixed up in the demo..

k2 is indeed nice, but the shop part miss some features imo that virtuemart has..

Yes me too but I didn't found on the K2 or K2 Store where I can change the payement parameter on the admin panel. On Virtuemart whe can parameter it to paid with credit card, paypal, ect.. but there is nothing about that on the K2 store.

Yes i think too. One question : do you know how to do on K2 Store to redirect the client on a webform (where he must enter his name, adresss, email,ect..) agter clicking on the checkout button. Because on the mystore template, it redirect on a paypal page. I want delete this redirection to redirect the personn on a webform or a credit card paiement.

The only parameters available on K2 Store are on it's plugin.
Find it on Plugins Manager.

You can set to paypal or manually.

For further informations, you need to ask directly to the developers of K2 store.

you can use the Chrono Form in order to do that...
i think its much better, since there you can control the fields etc.

As Ramesh Elamathi from Weblogicx India (K2 store developers) said days ago, very soon they will release new version with more options.
So, let's see what's new.

K2 has many potential, but for now VM is much more mature about eshop
