GK_Register module problem

When registering for store using GK_register module - new user isnt assigned a user group (shopper) or Customer number/ID in the virtuemart control panel, even after validating email address. Consequently when they login, they dont get a link 'Account Maintenance' to add/edit billing information.
Registering via Joomla Login module is fine. Why is this?

(Joomla 1.5.20 Virtuemart 1.1.15)

Hi

Our module is just a simple registration. The standard joomla module is a base for all the extensions so it's being fully compatible with.

Hi!
I have the same Problem with virtuemart. I would like that user can change their user details like accoung.shipping or account.billing. But it only shows the login form from virtuemart.
Please can you help?

I switched the login/register off - hid the buttons also, and just used the virtuemart login form instead.

First step in ordering is to register, then my customers have to fill out another form that asks them about the same details. Can we skip the first step?

Ok. I get it now. Unfortunately I do not know the answer. This part is shop component functionality, we only styled it to make it look better with the template. You need to ask on this show component developers forum. I cannot tell if its Virtuemart or K2store from the screen, so please check that and visit their documentation.
