MyStore - Photoslide

Hi! I'm using MyStore Template and my problem is related to "mod_gk_image_show". Whenever I want to link the slides to an article that is not a Virtuemart link, the slide just disappears.

I really need to change this and I don't know how to. Thanks in advance for your help!

the image show included in mystore is build only for virtuemart, if you want to use it for normal, i suggest you uninstall the mystore version and install the regular version.

If you want to use MyStore template with Image Show module working with Joomla! articles, you have to select a different module style, like for example "Image with thumbnails block" type and use the default settings that comes along with PhotoSlide package.
By doing this, don't worry about you still seeing VM items while adding/editing your slide. This time, it will use articles source and not VM.

I already set on your website a possible version, using "Image with Thumbnails block" type.
If you set each slide with your own link, i insure it will work this way.

VERY IMPORTANT:
As you can see, not all is ok. Only the first slide is being displayed properly, but don't worry. Since i didn't had access to template to change css files, you need to open the gk_stuff.css file and find this line:

.gk_is_wrapper-style1 .gk_is_slide { display:block; position:relative; float:left }

replace it with

Code: Select all

.gk_is_wrapper-style1 .gk_is_slide { display:block; float:left }

The issue I have is how to use the photo slide just as it is for template style but not use the k2 store features. I only want to use the joomla articles but i like the paging to flip back to a slide. I dont want to use thumb nails. Can this happen? If so how??? Thanks

You may have the wrong settings and need to use the ones listed in the pdf for slide show. I had the same issue.

Can I create the same photostyle without virtuemart?
