Get same layout on item level as category?

Hi,
Currently, the four photos on my first page are put into K2 and they all look exactly as I want them to when you click on them (item level).

Next step is to add a menu item that shows all the photos in that category, blog layout. I would like to have the same layout as item layout, but in blog layout with 10 photos at a time.

If i try "Alla bilder K2" (k2 item list/category), the big date to the left disappears and the social links. If i use "Alla bilder joomla" (regular category blog layout) , the date appears nicely to each article, but no social links.
So, I get confused whether I should put my articles into K2 item manager or the regular one... are you supposed to mix them at all on a website?

Do you understand what I'm trying to acheive? sorry for the bad explanation to a simple problem...

basically, i want a category listing that repeats the single item layout for every item in the category. (try clicking one of the photos on the first page)
e.g. a menu item that shows all photos in the catogory, with repeated single item layout. makes sense!?


EDIT:
It seems that K2 category listing hides the K2 "Item created date and time" even if it's set to "show" in "Item view options in category listings"

it's strange, beacuse this feature works if i do the category listing without K2...

would be very thankful if someone could help me with this.

That perfectly normal, because K2 single item view page and K2 category list of items have different layout styles.

That's why you don't get like you want.
