Hi guys,

I'm playing with the postnote template on my testsite before I start the real thing and have some questions about the "mainbody".

By reading other posts I've discovered that the mainbody "Vestibulum vitae ligula nec" article is based on the frontpage article in the home menu. This is a joomla article I see.

What I'm looking for:

I want an element on my front page that displays an intro to my most recent article in category(x), and show's that very attractive date box, preferably K2. Which when you click on the title/photo/read more you get redirected to the article.

What I'm missing

If I try changing the "Home" element to "K2 latest item" instead of "front page blog"the date block is gone, the same with an item link.

The website is http://www.shanecycles.com/test3/ but this is fairly usless to you as i'm constantly messing around with it B)

Any idea's or tips?

Hi

You should use News Show Pro GK4 module on the frontpage.

Thanks,

This improves the look slightly but I'm still missing the date block on the front page as shown on the template demo page. This only shows when I go to the full article.

I think this is one of the strong elements of the template, it gives readers an instant view of when the last article was placed...

Any more idea's? I've tried News Show Pro GK4 with K2 and joomla articles, both with no effect.

Hi

You can set the NSP to show date. But making it look like on the article view will need to style it Yourself. Please try maby choose article view for the Home page in menu settings.
