Hello,

I managed to alter the width of all neccessary columns etc. but I am struggeling with the background alteration. How can I alter the width of the article background? Especially the left column (grey shade) which is in the K2.css indicated as the "additional left column"?

Thanks for the help ... :)

Problem solved!

----------------

I once thought when I am paying for something I would actually get what I have paid for ... but it seems that this is not the case anymore! There is no need to pay for any support if there is "none"!

Anyways ... I am thanking myself for this sleepless night but I solved it myself. It's not that I haven't tried myself to solve my problem (which was very easy ... I admit) but I was simply thinking in the "wrong direction" on this issue.

Sometimes a "good support" could simply be helping people thinking in the "right direction" which helps them solving their next problem themselves ...

Anyways ... stopping a support "completely" is just a shame and does seriously raise questions if you are still following the right business model ... no offence by the way.

Hi Joran,

Sure I'll be so kind :)

The width of the grey background shade area is actually determined by the corresponding picture which is to be found in your websites root directory:

/templates/gk_postnote/images/style1 "or" style2/column.png

Standard size is 220x100 ... you can simply alter the width of this picture and upload it again. In the front-end it will show the change then.

Again ... it is fairly simple but I was thinking in the wrong direction at first as I thought that the width is determined in the corresponding K2.css. But it isn't :S

Hope I could help you out on this, Joran ;)
