Link from K2 item to external site

I'm new to both GavickPro templates and K2. I'm sure this is a ridiculous question. But I cannot find where I can link one of the Portfolio images to an external website. I installed the "Link Item" plugin, but that's only internally.

What am I missing here?

Anyone out there?

I don't think you can get those news_pro_gk4 modules to point to an external website but if you look in your module manager for "About me - K2 item page" you can copy that and have that copy appear on the front page in instead.

The layout of that module is pretty much the same as the Portfolio modules on front page but its custom HTML so you can add the links you want.

It's actually the K2 items I want to link from - and specifically from the images included.

I want to link directly from each of the modules shown in the "portfolio" row.

None of your links work, I think search-engine-friendly URLs aren't working with this template since I turned them on in my copy of Postnote and ended up with broken links as well.

What I'm confused about is.. if I go to tawebworks.com and click on the image in the Carolina Induction Lighting photo where do you want my webbrowser to take me. To the K2 item or to an external website ie carolinainductionlighting.com?

You're right about the links... I had forgotten to change my htaccess.txt file to .htaccess. That is fixed now.

Regardless, I would like it to open a new window to CarolinaInductionLighting.com.
