I am testing the mobile version of postnote on my android phone, and the link 'Desktop Version" does not give the desktop version but only refreshes the mobile version. What can I do about this ?

Thanks, Marc

In default browser on my HTC Desire there is option called 'Load mobile view' when it is enabled looks like the browser force the mobile version, please try to disable this feature and check the results.

Thank you for your reply!

Well you are right, there is a setting on my HTC Desire HD called, "Mobile View", when I turn this off I automatically get the Desktop Version of the website (so no mobile version at all).

The point is that I would like to use the mobile version, and I can't ask my visitor to change his settings of his default mobile browser, and my issue is the a visitor that visits my site with a mobile phone should be able to choose between the mobile version and the desktop version (by clicking on the Desktop Version link at the bottom of the page), just like in your demo website. Somehow on my website this function does not seem to work, that's why I am asking for help.

It doesn't work with iphone also. This issue happens with ALL JOOMLA 1.7 GAVICK'S TEMPLATE. In addition the default view looks bad with iphone with the main menu "exploded" to the right of the page.

Please give us at least an answer.

Thanks

My customer ist witing for it.

Probably it would be an idea to ask wether s.o. wants to switch to mobile template.
Updateted to party freak 2.2 but everything ´s the same for me.

Anyone a hint for me?
