Hello,
I want to migrate or update a huge Joomla 1.7 site based on Black & White template to a Joomla 2.5 Version. I just saw that there is a quickinstall of Black & White in Joomla 2.5 Version (gk_blackandwhite_quickstart_J!25.zip). How can I do that without loosing all the work done in the 1.7 Version?
Can someone help me out?

Hi,
Quickstart package is used for demo purpose only, it contains Joomla! core and template which if you install you will have a new Joomla site with sample data looking exactly like our demo site. Therefore if you have a Joomla site already, you can't use quickstart.
You will have to upgrade your Joomla first, then download and install template, before doing all of these, make sure to backup everything. If you have made changes in template, make sure that all the changes are in file override.css
