I have installed jcomments but it is not working at all. installation and configuration went through normally without any problem.
I have another websites made on the World news II and other templates and jcomments is still working normally on other sites.
But the jcomments is not functioning on my particular 2 sites which made on YourShop template.

So, I am guessing this is template problem. Please help me?

Hi

I cannot see any configuration issues. Please make one small test. Rename /html/com_content/article/default.php to /html/com_content/article/_default.php and let me know if this makes a difference.

Please note that, if I enable {comments_on} when I add article, it works. But the underlying problem is that I cannot make any changes in the backend, on the jcomments control panel! Whatever changes I make at the backend, it doesn't save my changes. All selections and settings are gone when I close the jcomments control panel.
I am suspecting that the Yourshop template is main cause of this. Because I am using the jcomments with no problem with World News II or other templates.

Hi

Och. If it's like that than it's for sure not Yourshop template. Our templates has no affect on backend. We are not using any additional extentions than template itsels. Please try reinstall jComments and ask on their developers forum. In worst case I would also try to reinstall joomla in case there is a broken file issue.
