hi, I downloaded the yourshop store, which is the installation process, install the 3 packages? or only gk_yourshop_J! 25.zip?

gk_yourshop_quickstart_J25 packets and gk_yourshop_rest_files_J! 25 must be assembled or upload via FTP?

Thank you.

Hi,
installation process depends from wat you want to achieve. If you would like to have all content and settings as our demo you need to install quickstart package. Installation proces for this package is described here https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... oomla-1-6/
If you would like to have only template without content and extensions (you will have to install them separately) you need to install gk_yourshop_J! 25.zip. This one you are installing using extension manager at your joomla backend.
Rest files package contains all sources and needed plugins. So it is not installation package but contains plugins which need to be installed using Extension manager at joomla back-end.

So for example if I want to install Joomla 3.0 and an eCommerce template (example Boutique) I would,

a) download Joomla 3.0, upload to my site and install as normal.
b) download the *J!30.zip and the *rest_files_J!30.zip for zip.
c) install the *J!30.zip and then *rest_files_J!30.zip via the site's back-end Extension Manager.

Would that be correct?

And would doing that install the K2store etc? Or would I download and install them myself?

Thanks!!

OK. I see now that I don't use the extension manager to install *rest_files_J!30.zip. I need to extract the zip and install the plugins in the plugins folder.

But what do I do with the remainder of the folders in *rest_files_J!30.zip? This is Boutique btw.

Sorry. I think it is confusion on my part. As related to boutique. And the Joomla 3.0 version.

What was causing it was the folders in the "rest" zip. There were folders for plugins and modules. I assumed they had to be installed via the extension manager. And there was a folder for source. Ok. I assume this is all the graphic sources.

But there were folders related to Red Shop. But I thought the main page for boutique stated Red Shop was compatible with Joomla 3.0.

So I wasn't sure what to do with them.

Since I am now trying to work with Restaurant, no longer relevant ;-)

But thanks!
