I just purchased the Music City template for Joomla 2.5 and tried to upload to my server and received an error message stating that the zip file does not contain an install package. At first I assumed that maybe I had to unzip the files because It also contained the other extensions that goes with the template... however that was not the case.

I don't need the quick start because I already have joomla 2.5 installed. I just need the template, extensions (modules, plugins etc.) and source files. Thank you!!!

I can confirm zip files work as it should, please check you have used correct zip files.

gk_musicity_J!25.zip < - installable from extensions manager. Main template file.

gk_musicity_rest_files_J!17.zip < - Not an install package, you need to unzip and see its content to use in your website. Contains modules/plugins or any custom styles.

See you around...

I downloaded (gk_musicity_J!25.zip) 3 times and tried to install it several times and it keeps saying that there was an error uploading the file to the server... Unable to find install package. I also did not see the files with the modules and plugins for the template. Can you possibly email me the confirmed zip file that works along with the modules and plugins for this template? Because for some reason, the file that is on the download page on your site is not working for me and I do not see the modules/plugin files.

I have downloaded and tested from our server before i have posted so i believe either you are not using correct version or there is a problem in your server.

You can download joomla 2.5 version packages from below url.
https://www.gavick.com/download/joomla- ... icity.html

Can you please also confirm you can install other extensions or components to make sure your server and folder permissions are correct. E.g install any other free modules/components/plugins from joomla extensions directory that is compatible with joomla 2.5.

Let us know, thank you.

I was able to install a module on the server with ease... (Specifically, your J!2.5 news pro module). I am pretty familiar with installing joomla templates... however, for some reason I am still not able to install the Musicity template. I am using Joomla 2.5.2....

You have forgot to include ftp details ;)

Your issue is with file size upload which your server limits. Try to do below.

1. Extract gk_musicity_J!25.zip
2. Copy extracted folder "gk_musicity_J!25" into "/home/content/54/8826754/html/tmp/gk_musicity_J!25"
3. Go to extension manager and copy above path in to "install from directory" section and click on install.
