Edit links of LOGIN | REGISTER and edit CSS box Login

I found problems with the display of the login box.
I tried to insert the CSS code that I found at this link:

but the result you can see the screen attached.
I also tried to change the values eventually find worse.
I also need to change the Register link which will lead to the module of joomla to be able to accept some terms and conditions, but I could not figure out how to do, I try to put any change in the index file always takes me at the box registration default.
