How do I get the main body to look like my old site on Joomla. I've messed about with the options but couldn't work it out.

No lines to separate the articles.
No margin beside the image/title/description
Gap between each article is big

I have been following the guide since 9am, nearly 6 hours, and I am struggling to get it to look the same as my old Joomla site.

How do I sort the below?

I missed a number out on the margin. All sorted now.
