December Template

I know... I know... there is no more every month a template. Which sucks for those of that signed on for 12 paid templates a year. Just saying...

But is there going to be a template in December before the end of the year? Since you have only given 9 Joomla templates in 2014. A nice content template would be awesome since at least in my opinion there have only been 3 decent templates this year. Writer was pretty cool but Photo is definitely not my taste. The only others I kind of liked were Steakhouse and Storefront. News is a content that I'm looking for but has little to no design to it at all.

Anyways... I know the developers don't answer but if someone could let us know if we will get a template anytime soon that would be very much appreciated.

in sort of you have right. But right now there is no info about 12 templates per year.
I heard that there is a "small" hope for Dec theme, but I cannot promise it, I'm only moderator.

Steakhouse and Storefront were also my favorite themes.

Looking at the new pricing, I guess I'll only get 1 maybe 2 templates for my 6 month business subscription - what a con job!
Don't bother ever sending me renewal offers as I don't intend to install any more of your templates - in fact I will start replacing the active ones now before I am locked in to having to update them after my 2 template subscription ends !

It's pathetic that you can't even inform subscribers as to when the next template will appear - or worse yet, how many templates will be provided in the 6 months of the subscription.

In fact I'd rather get a refund now (as I never even installed your last template - despite re-subscribing to download it) rather than waste my time continually checking to see if you have bothered to actually produce a new template.

In fact I should run a story on this on my (yes, I have a full broadcast channel of my own) TV channel ....... what do you think ?
Would potential subscribers like to be fully informed ?

I'll say this, I fully understand your bitterness, surely I would also feel the same way.
But now you can order only this template what you need, so in theory no problem.
Second, now you will not find anywhere a promise "one template in each month" so ... I guess it means, lose your hope for this.

So much for one more template this year... It's really disappointing and while I don't point this blame at you Oscar, your bosses just simply seem to not care any longer about their core users. Changing the terms for new users is one thing, but we signed up to accounts with the promise of 12 paid templates per year. You can't just change that whenever you feel like it. We paid for that service.

What can I say, sorry.
I hope that current templates are good enough.

and our developer add support for VM3,
about new template I have no info, I will ask tomorrow.

New template should be ready around 20 January. I know.... late.
But GK main Web designer cannot decide which layout should choose.

Template is delayed because everyone is waiting for stable K2 component.

Really? That's funny. The latest 2.6.9 was released in December and if they are waiting on version 3 then that could be a month away. K2 just released another beta for it. I understand the new "cycle" of templates and we don't have a choice, but we haven't seen a Joomla template since November and it's now aproaching February and they haven't even released a preview or told the public what's coming next on any of the social platforms.

I realize I seem to be the only one complaining, but as someone who has invested their money in not only the Joomla but also the Wordpress lifetime packages I feel I'm entitled. I've given my money to Gavick and they no longer have to work for it. I am curious as to the legal aspect, since under the terms I signed up for I was told a template every month and they didn't seek my permission to change those terms. Therefore, they broke our contract. I'm curious if I could take action against that. I'm sure I could. But honestly, I just want to see that your company cares about it's users/customers.

Oscar, I know you reply to us and I appreciate you taking the time. I wish Robert did the same. It's almost arrogant the way they treat anyone that says anything negative. I'm surprised they haven't deleted this thread on the forum, blocked me and censored me the way they do on the Facebook page.

The business was built on top of a core of fantastic Joomla templates, but lately Gavick seems more interested in doing anything but...

Probably If I had paid membership like you have, I would feel exactly this same, I'm also Joomla Freelancer, not only moderator.
About legal steps with templates I cannot suggest anything but you can send question via ticket system.
I'm not kind of guy who is deleting inconvenient topic(s).
