K2Store is a simple shopping cart component designed to work with the K2 component. If your website only requires minor shopping cart functionality, you can use K2Store to add it to individual articles. All additional parameters are defined using the Extra Fields function of the K2 component.
The premium-quality News Show Pro GK4 module from GavickPro supports this component. Within articles you may define a product’s price and display it along with an “Add to cart” button.
Note that K2Store is a simple and restrictive implementation of ecommerce functionality and would not meet the needs of all online shop owners. If your needs are more extensive than to sell the occasional product on your Joomla-based Web site, GavickPro recommends the use of either VirtueMart or redShop. Both of these components are supported in the templates produced by GavickPro.
