Size of the categories image

I want to put the images of the categories bigger, is it possible?
If I update the joomla platform will it still work?

Yes, I don't see problems/changes if template will stay this same.

You are using K2 ?
It's has its own settings for those images, check Options.

I didn't explain myself the best I could, it's not from K2.

If we talk about VM,
1) VM --> Configuration --> Templates : Thumbnail Image Width - change value from 90px.
2) Upload new images for all categories (replace old with new one, this is the only why how VM can change size of thumbs).

This I think that solved the problem, the old ones got bigger, it seems that stretched, but I'm gonna check if it's ok like this.
