Warning: Failed to change file permissions!

* Warning: Failed to change file permissions!
* Error when moving file (please check permissions for directories)
this is the message when i try to change image in gk3... after a quick installation of party freak. i have the same problem with sporter. and no way to load a new image.
when i try to change some other configuration (ex: ftp on or off) i have:
* Could not make configuration.php writable
* Could not make configuration.php unwritable
but i change that configuration right, despite of the error message.
what's wrong?

it needs to upload php.ini in every folder
