Problem with upgrade from j1.7 to j2.5

After upgrading Joomla 1.7 to 2.5 I have had many problems with the site. I can no longer add photos to articles; the Image show module was messing with the menu; I'm getting a weird error message at the top of my site and a few other things... I have tried to manually update the template to the latest version but that hasn't fixed any of the issues... I don't know what to do or how to proceed... Any thoughts on this or a direction I could go would be much appreciated.

Have You updated Image show module as well ? Please do that and send me an access to joomla panel.
