Penguine (a few features not working)

I installed the Penguine Quickstart, and for some reason the footer (copyright) information does not appear.
I went to the template itself on Joomla, and I see there's content in the text box; then I resaved it but it still doesn't show up.

Also, I I want to change the header title. Currently it reads: Welcome to the frontpage
I went Menu>Main Menu*>Home

But, it's giving me this error below:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /hsphere/local/home/biglake/beplush.com/community/plugins/system/plg_jamenuparams/asset/html_parser.php on line 126

I am not sure what to do?

i'd suggest you reinstall the quicksstart...
