Article in the homepage

Hi, I've a problem with the articles in homepage. They don't follow the parameters settings of the home. Examlpe: I would one main article and other 6 in 3 column, but it doesn't happen. Why?
Moreover the titles aren't shown although I've set on yes. Can you help me? thanks

This part was designed expecialy for this template. If You want to drop template style and use default joomla featured articles functionality all You need to do is to change the name of /html/com_content to /html/_com_content

or make it only to the file presenting the type You've used on frontpage (I assume it's featured articles).
