Create awesome game website with Game Magazine Joomla template

Hello. I have Game Magazine template for my website (I will give you URL, but it needs to be in a private message please)

When I try to share my HOME PAGE on Facebook, It will not display any images, but gets the description, name, etc. When I share a K2 article on Facebook, everything works completely fine.

I tried troubleshooting using Facebooks Debugger tool and all I get are all kinds of weird errors that, even after hours of google searching, I cannot make sense of. Such as:

The following will be treated as a redirect by the crawler:

A HTTP redirect
A <link rel="canonical" href=".." /> tag
A <meta property="og:url" content=".." /> tag

The final URL, which we tried to extract metadata from is highlighted in bold

To find the object, these are the redirects we had to follow
original http://(removed my url)/
rel="canonical" http://www.(removed my url)/?view=featured

Please note - Gzip compression is already turned off. It was never on to begin with.

Other errors I get:
Object Missing a Required Value Object at URL 'http://www.(removed my url).org/?view=featured' of type 'website' is invalid because a required property 'og:type' of type 'string' was not provided.

and

Object at URL 'http://www.(removed my url).org/?view=featured' of type 'website' is invalid because a required property 'og:type' of type 'string' was not provided.

Can you please help me get all of this sorted? I paid for another 3 months support ($50.00 USD) just so I can finally get this sorted and launch my new site public. Please help me. Thank you.

Hi

Please send me an access to joomla panel and FTP. I'll figure that out.

Hi

I've checked and looks like You are hiding an article on the frontpage. Which means plugin is used, but cannot get any data, because there is nothing to chose from. I have no other solution than to display at least one article there. Or You may try to replace our plugin with one available: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... open-graph

Hi,

I'm unsure what you mean? I am comparing my site to what I see on the live demo, and I don't see what you mean by displaying an article on the main page?

Hi

In menu item settings for the element configured as homepage should be showing an article. You can later cover this with modules or different content, but plugin uses this article to create open graph details. I know it's not always possible, so in Your place i would try to use a 3rd party plugin. There is a lot free available and this will make less work than reconfiguring template to show frontage correctly.

Just post a story, add an image you want, make it a featured item published or not, make it # 1 on the list and that's what FB will see.

Hi

Yes @mojotown is right. That's what I was trying to advice, but this sounds much simplier :)
