VM 2.6

Hello, could you update esport to latest VM 2.6 ? You could end support of this template after virtuemart 3.x appears as now 2.6 do not contain API changes so it would not cost you a lot of effort and many of us using esport would be happier

What would be if we will update to latest VM 2.6 with without template update ? Are there known issues ?

As we know there is still no even beta of VM3 so it is impossible to say anything about installing VM3. We support latest 24 templates and the eSport is right now beyond this support. Yes it is true that VM 2.6 is probably the latest release before VM3 but we firstly need to see this component to see anything more.

But the main question : is it safe to update to VM 2.6 with esport template ?

Some views are necessary to update or just reverted to the default one - sure it is safe but you need to make backup before. After installation the only problems which you may notice is problem with captcha, because as I've mentioned some VM override views have to be update.

I updated Virtuemart and esport template, and everything seems work, but my menu item to VM main page gives an empty page. Could you help me?

It was my fault. The Virtuemart update wasn't successfull... The template is OK

Ok, thanks for sharing your solution. It is alway to check problem with Beez or Prostar because then you will have sure whether it is template or extension issue.
