Home page is still home page

I am unable to duplicate the first page of the website. It still comes up as the home page. I have been working on this site for a while so I am not able to use the quick start. I have installed a the quick start on my local machine for reference and I have replicated it exactly as far i can tell. I have created the menus, main menu and main menu subpages. I have created the template and assigned the page suffix to the home button in the templates with the onepage suffix . I am not sure what i am missing. Any help will be appreciated.

Joomla 2.5.15 and the newest creative template(downloaded today)
