Are You using sef404sh component? Yesterday I had a user with same issue and it was becuase of a wrong link created. So if You do please disable it and check to be sure it's not the same problem.

I'm afraid I do not know how to make it either. You will have to ask VM developers for help here. I think You will need some extra plugin for such functionality, but I'm not a VM expert.
